Well the latest update is that the visa papers arrived yesterday. It's kinda unnerving (1 n or2?) when you get official looking papers with your name and passport number being the only part you can actually read. Actually that's not quite true. Due to my newfound fluency in Mandarin, I could read the characters for "school" (校学), "teacher" (老师), "month" (月) and "Australia" (澳大利亚).
Only 44 days to go.

What freaks me out is that you can type those things. Do you have a special keyboard for that?
The secret is a highly specialised technique called "cutting and pasting" from the "internet".
